Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital’s Global Fusion enthrals audiences

Bank Sarasin-Alpen (Qatar) LLC., a subsidiary of Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd, a leading Swiss private bank, together with its investment banking associate Alpen Capital Investment Bank (Qatar) LLC hosted its third annual GLOBAL FUSION concert on Wednesday, 10 November, 2010 at the Intercontinental Doha. The event was a huge success and was attended by leading personalities from the GCC.
Welcoming the audience to the third Global Fusion event in Doha, Mr. Fidelis M Goetz, Head of Private Banking, Bank Sarasin & Co., Ltd, Switzerland highlighted the importance Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital place on supporting the Arts and Music.
This year, the concert featured Trilok Gurtu,as the lead along with musical sensations such as Andy Suzuki, Carolo Cantini, Johann Berby, Roland Cabezas, Rosana Romero, Ahmet Tekbilek, Sanago Mohamed Bachir and Flavio Rodrigues. In keeping with the organizations’ tradition of supporting local artistes, Qatari musician, Ateeq Saeed Mubarak Suwaidan performed with the other musicians from across the world on Middle Eastern Drums.
The Qatar Operations of Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital were established in 2008. The two organisations operate through a unique business model whereby the investment banking capabilities of Alpen Capital complement the private banking activities of Bank Sarasin-Alpen. Apart from Qatar, both organisations are present in UAE, Oman, Bahrain and India.
