Grammy-winning virtuoso Wouter Kellerman takes center stage, leading a stellar lineup of internationally acclaimed artistes

The 20th edition of the Global Fusion Concert, hosted by Alpen Capital and Alpen Asset Advisors, captivated the audience with an extraordinary showcase of musical and dance artistry from around the world. Commemorating two decades of the iconic Global Fusion concert, this year's event featured a rich tapestry of diverse musical talents drawn from the operating markets of Alpen Capital.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, Sheikha Amal Bahwan, Vice Chairperson of the Suhail Bahwan Group Holding said, “The Global Fusion concert is the perfect embodiment of the harmony that can be achieved when people from different cultures and experiences come together, whether it is at a concert or in a business, and it symbolizes the spirit of cooperation that plays a key role in the success of any business”.

“The Global Fusion concert stands as a testament to our commitment to foster connections, support music, and enrich our community. I’m proud to say that this milestone not only marks the 20th edition of the Global Fusion concert but also two decades of Alpen Capital's resilience through ups and downs of the economic landscape. The show must go on!”, said Rohit Walia, Executive Chairman and CEO, Alpen Capital.

This year’s concert was led by Wouter Kellerman, a two-time Grammy-winning South African flautist, whose classical prowess and groundbreaking contributions to music enchanted the audience. Accompanied by a stellar ensemble of global talents, including Bharatnatyam soloist, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Grammy-nominated sitarist Ravi Chary, and others, the concert traversed multiple dimensions of world music.

Mukul Dongre's powerful beats on Western Drums, Tri Nguyen's mastery of Vietnamese Zither, and contributions from Luke van der Merwe on the guitar, Wessel van Rensburg on keyboards, and Upula Madusanka on bass, added unique layers to the musical journey. Like previous years, the concert not only showcased internationally acclaimed artists but also provided a platform for local talent, featuring Emirati artist Saif Al Ali on the oud.

The diverse ensemble united under the theme of "Harmony in Diversity," symbolizing music's power to transcend geographical and cultural divides.
